I've always assumed that green planets culture has not evolved to the point that they are exuding radio waves. Once they evolve to that point, SPC shows up and invites them to join the Confederation.

"Well you're right about that, but i think that most players that have coords of greens can sell or keep and retain value of it so that we can sell. Other than my greediness it provides me and some players with the ability to keep from defeat. If it can't be detected by probes than it'll stay invisible so when i'm running low on planets i can just colonize greens without need of I-flight or wasting my troops."

well still. if you probe out all the planets i bet lots of players are going to probe out all the planets and in the end the greens will all be gone. seriously think about it. the only way is if you expand the SL universe to be able to have planets far out so that the greens will be farther apart. so you don't probe out like 10 greens in one probe.

I agree with Rag on this one. I think green planets offer some what of a safty net if your running low on planets or near defeat. That is the way I use them. I never sell a green planet. In my opinion I think that would be foolish to do so. Why give up what might be your only ace in hand?......

The idea of leaving a planet to green is pretty interesting because we could leave really important planets and remember the coords then when we need the planet we could come back to it. unless it is found by warp.

LOL - Okay, might have been something that Iriidayn did a long time ago when experimenting with the newbie arena revisions. Not sure. Certainly not a normal feature of the game!
