bleh...although i don't believe the Bible is 100% truthful it's still not complete bullcrap...if it's not 100% truthful it was based off true events, i have friends who are atheist/agnostic who told me that

Man I must say that I'm glad I found this topic and I think that you are all laboring under a sever miss conseption between genetic variance in a population and evolution, seeing as you are only focussing on Darwinian Gradualism more comonly known as Natural Selection as the mode of evolution.

Natural Selection is merly the editiong process if you will that acts on evolutionary change as a function of the enviroment over time. To truely grasp how all life came to be one has to consider the relationship between regulatory genes that ACT on structural genes in the process of Evo-Devo.

Some of you are trying to argue the creation of the universe as having a simultanious creation of life which we know is not true because life originated after the origin of the universe. The origin of life still clouded in mistery as to the exact location and the exact first organism because the first life was unicellular bacteria does not fossilise however the sequence of events that lead to the origin of life is very well known as far as what had to happen when and how each step can be accomplished from non-living mater present on the Earth. And with further reseach in Evo-Devo thanks to Dr. Sean Caroll at the University of Wisconsin it will be possible to use DNA sequencing to lay out a farily acurate road map of the orign.
