Hm..Professor said deffence is needed just in building process. Then if defence is removed, buildings (except turets) should work :S

Buildings work without defense being there. Defense is only needed to build, with the exception of turrets, which require defense to be there to be active.

As for turrets, if you have 100 turrets, a fighter would have to get through all 100 to survive. While that is possible, in theory, since each turret firing has 50% chance of missing, it is extremely unlikely (1 in a million chance or less). The odds are good that an untrained fighter will be killed after 2 or 3 turret turrets, and a trained fighter after 5 or 6 turrets (average 5k per turret damage to ships). Fighters shoot at turrets and vice versa one at a time, and once the fighter is dead, they stop shooting. So, you would spend 10k to 15k uranium to kill a fighter that is untrained, or 25k to 30k uranium to kill a trained fighter on average. The amount spent is not based on number of turrets, but number of fighters who attack the turrets. Of course, the more turrets you have, the more ammo you might need to kill 150 fighters attacking your planet.

Shield generator and fusion power use energy and hydrogen, respectively. Turrets use uranium when they fire. Same amount of uranium as average damage to attacking fleet (5k per shot).

The warp inhibitor does not use resources, but it also does not produce anything other than protection from warp.

The rest of the buildings only produce resources. They all are similar to iron mine in function.

On the buildings page, you can see what each of them do in terms of production levels.

buildings are sweeeeeet at the mo one of my planets has got production points as if it was 52x planet nifty but interest kinda makes the draw backs of the shield generator and fusion reactor pointless cause if uve got enough res interest kicks in u get more than u lose

yes, but then again, the more resources you have, the more you are at risk of being attacked, so there is a fair tradeoff there as well.

ok a question... if a turret isnt destroyed afte rit has attacked a ship..... and the ship shas ample defense.... does the turret attack again?......
