Yes, one small group of special forces unit, with a bit of luck and a lot of skill, can take out a much larger force.

Sun Tze, using a combination of luck and strategy, beat a force more than 20 times his strength.

The luck there involved deception, which his enemies fell for. The had the wrong amounts of forces in the wrong place, and were not prepared for what they did not expect to find.

This is a bit like thinking a planet with 12 M defense can't have more than 12 turrets. Well, it easily can if that planet has zero shields and had full shields when the turrets were built, and any player strong enough to have more than one HW can concentrate defense on one planet at a time to build turrets, and then reduce defense to 15 to 20M per planet and have pretty well defended HWs with a lot more than 15 to 20 turrets on them. This is not luck. It is ...

"The Art of WAR"

As described by Sun Tze roughly 3000 years ago. That is the FIRST textbook I require my students in an MBA (master of business administration) course on business strategy study in order to lay a foundation regarding how to win in business situations (where luck does matter, but strategy is much more important than luck, and a good strategy can position a firm to take adantage of luck when it occurs).

And probably some pretty good skills and strong preparation for the sniper attacks. Yeah, being unluck can be bad. But, a poorly trained sniper is going to be "unlucky" a lot more often than a well prepared sniper.

Ye ye... I know that history, I saw many movies where one or couple fighters win all war :D...old, good movies like "the seven samurays" (or something like that), Superman, He-man, x-man, ...man, man, man... You, amerikans, very like all those supermens, superfighters. But in this game there is no superfighters. All have the same skill (for a start). And if there is no difference between trayned or not tr. fighter will attack turret (both have the same - 20% chance) - then all is bad, not right... maybe our fighters (with 200% exp) pilots have much more skills then turrets operators with NO EXP! :D
