Low planet count also means that there are fewer SPs for it to go to and I'm not sure if it picks out player planets then, but those players that aren't as active and are trying to hold onto planets might get hit more and have a harder time finding new planets |

Ah, I thought in your first post you wanted to see the number of planets dropped (as in reduced), not that you wanted to see a 'planet drop' of the planets that didn't come in. I wouldn't mind a drop, toss a good 6-10k out, better probing and nearby results for those that are actually playing. |

I think a planet drop is needed and a minimum amount of planets in the universe set, when reached a planet drop is initiated.

I usually agree with you EL but in this case I do not. The planets will regenerate. I think the low planet count makes the game more challenging. Planet drops are annoying, I hate having to clear nearbys on 40+ systems all at once. |
