you can clcik on the "real arena" button under mission and it iwll send you to the real arena without have to go through the training, i for one like the training because it encourages you to get 15 planets before you leave, which is relly nice, i dont think i ever had so many at once (maybe on my best gaming day but my clannies told me i had to destroy any planets near my homeworld)

Fortunately, the newbie missions provide you with 21 non-chain planets . You might have to obliterate a system of the 24 spawned, but newbies end up having to use probes to find the rest.
