This is the number of active players i count...

We need more players we need about 150 minimum just to get the fighting going again

We need about 300 to make the game competitive

We need a reset to hurry the use of homeworlds up... Unless the homeworld number drops new players will continue to be wiped out, they will continue to join and say sod it, and most importantly, it won't be an enternatly until players leave

EVERY player at the moment counts

We need something in order to help new players out and to prevent their immediate desturction at the hands of us, we all do it, don't act like you don't

Most importantly i think what we need is a decrease in price of probes to allow newer players to probe more, more troops to get out of the newbie arena quicker, an already designed assault and fighter given to them, and maybe the most important point, up the production point of the newbs greens to an amount to give them a fighting chance, leave the SPC alone at 9

If no changes happen SL will fall

I suggest a change to the attack formula. Something in law got me thinking about it; how attacking should not be as costly as it is. I firmly believe that there are various defencive installments and buildings in place to act as a detterant to attacking. I think the actual net cost should be lower. Perhaps 1.3m training and 2.5m damage. Sorry Abe, I'm speculating at a change which is very much off topic of what you actually wanted.

I like the idea of increased advertising and a reset. I think the protectionalism in SL needs to end. Yes, we've all taken a long time to build up our HWs. Yes, it will feel like a bit of a waste of time if it was all wiped out before we got a chance to use it. However, look at the upsides. The round prior to the reset will probably be the best round ever. Besides, if we don't do something along the lines of a reset it will have been a waste of time building up so much; there will be no one around to take your HW and you'll be the only guy sat here plotting attacks on long inactive players.

Think about it - lose now, gain later. Keep now, lose later. That's the way I see it.

Amen. I agree with some points.
-No reset, or Saint Baakra will kill me, I already suggested it, and she flipped.
-Lower probes price, FOR NEW PLAYERS ONLY.
-Bigger starting assult and fighter.
-No change to shields, it would screw up everything. Maybe x10 minimum, 9 is a wierd number.

I didn't say sheilds and making changes for new players only is incredibily difficult yes you can base on Stars but it would require an entire new subroutine to detect and amend hardcoded stats, meaning the hardcoded stats would have to become variables, missing one will crash the game

A reset would also anger players and make them leave, having less than before.

I doubt anyone would fully quit over a reset. Besides. What is more important to a game? Keeping old players or attracting and harvesting new ones? Player turnover is an important feature in the survival of an online game.

um actually i dont... i encourage the noobs to get better and grow... i even help a few... if u look at my kill count u will see that i have barely any.. and the only ones i do have are inactives that still had a green planet there that spawned next to my hw...

:stupid: Same here. I only attack inactive noobs. they just need a better way of contacting the experienced players to help them. Some use the forums but others either don't know how or are intimidated by it.
