That is a good idea, the liths did not buy cred that directly translated to T they bought creds for planet upgrades and for probing upgrades, understandale because tey still have to keep the planets safe. Dogg out right buys T which is like buy a victory for the round or for his clan. Buying planet uprgades and buying Troops are completely different.

RBA: check out Project Entropia for an example of a game that doesn't specially label donators ;P. And that's just off the top of my head.

You are not supposed to be able to buy points in a game. That is one of the reasons that Prof set the limit of planets at 50 so that people could not buy so many planets and just dominate over everyone every round. Well noone else in the game is buying troops at such a large quantity. No noob has escalated in that many points that fast since smartfox, and SF wasnt even a noob he had a HW. Point of the matter is we all want a balanced game, the game cannot be balanced if we have one person just buying troops, everytime we destroy his HW or kill his ships he says oh well and plugs in his credit card number. Filas did 18mil T dmage to him and he just brushed it aside. The only other person who could have done that is Prof and even he would have been pissed. 18mil T is not a cake walk but to people who buy troops it is.

Hmm, just remembered another: Lusternia. Ofc, both share the common property of being RPGs, so there aren't any points as such. Anyway, I think SS' idea about the news entry makes the most sense of those I've seen, but I still don't really see a need for anything like it :/. May just be because I'm on the other side of the keyboard though ;P. (No, not literally, you can put your keyboard back down now... ).

drugrunners, a game like this one, there is the option of buying credits but it cant give you an advantage over anyone too much and you can easily buy credits from players.
