There is so much that is unknown to most users that I thought that was part of the game design. Logon, play, figure it out, discover what works and what doesn't. When I first started playing this game, it took me a week to figure out that even though I set planet production to produce equal amount of troops and vital that I need 1 (one) vital on the planet before I'd ever get one troop produced. That wasn't written anywhere in the missions. no help file. I think I 'discovered' that in the forums. BTW, thankyou whoever posted that so long ago.

I hate to say this, but I'm not sure I agree that it is 'bug' that the two different functions behave differently. The fact is that they have acted the way they are for well, since beginning of SL as far as I know.

Now think of who has been playing SL since beginning of SL? thats right LTC. So, they've had long time to 'discover' things that your run of the mill newb hasn't even fathomed.

Humm. Okay. Discuss in support forum. I am open to fighter attack and transport pirate working either randomly, alphabetically, by type of ship, or by age of ship. However, I do not want to have one method used for one type of function and another code method used for a different by similar behavior in appearance function.

It seems you are making all the changes you want ignoring that 3 months period..
3 months period was created to take a rest from other players preffered changes ;)

PS: Smartfox and Baras don't like boasting, but i'll mention it was 87 trained assaults crashed :D

It was not bug. You must do at least voting at SL council about it, only then change anything.

so what is a bug - the way transports see ships or the way fighters see ships?

In my opinion a bug is that you are not able to see all ships - I think if ships you trade/attack not fitting one page, you should be able to go to next page.

the error or bug (not a software "bug" by Iiridayn's definition, but a logic error), in this case, is inconsistent treatment of user interface for similar functions.

There was different code written for similar functions for different types of ship. An inconsistency in user interface and function with no reason is a bad design.

As for multiple pages, that is not an easy code change to make. I am not opposed to that idea, but that definitely is a change in the way the code works and it would require programming time. As for fighter versus transport code differences, that appears to be an oversight or mistake to me. If it was intentional, then Zygi can tell me why he did it that way and why the design was intentional. However, the way the code was written, it appear to me to have been an oversight and design mistake.

I'm sure that after LTC will hit HW's and no one can pirate or to use fighters then to change code about multiple page will be very easy :D
