Humm. I think that sounds too complicated. Hard to dock and undock fighters, but they can go with the battle control ship as part of a fleet group moving in I-Flight together.

Right so current models under discussion are theScrounger/ Detector/ Jammer/ Commander
we like the features but do you make it one ship or four?


Scrounger- picks up recs in space from destrpyed ships /HWs and dropped recs

Detector- probes for ships in 50 parasec range, isnt dertroyed afetr use, no atk/ def.
- Jams Hyperdrive in a 50 parasec range which lasts for 30 secs
-Scrounges

Jammer- A Detector that doesnt Scrounge , but has the added ability to Freeze
all ships in a 10 prsec radious, last ten secs , 2k Max volume, no Hyper,
no atk , no def , or optional
- Alternate idea is same as above but costs less and destroyed after Jam but
not probe.... therefore no def is a must, its like sacrificing the ship for a
shot at attacking frozen ship


Commander - A Detector, with ability to command fighters in a 5 parasec range and
have them autoattack any ship that doesnt belong to you, when
Commander is moved manually, all fighters under its controll also
move... auto attack function is automatic and active at all times
(whenyour off line)so don bring your commander to a clan attack.....
main Idea is a def system for you HW......
If Jammers were implemented then they would also be in fleet, I mean
they would be auto picked up by the Commander which would then
obviously lose its detector qualities seeing as how the Jammers in the
fleet and it wouldnt have Def, with no Jammer, def is optional and
Detctor status would be reenstated

Paracite - Professors alternative suggestion to the scrounger, it would say infect
the ship lik a bug, and over a 24 hr period consume it taking its recs and
gaining some of the recs it cost to make the ship......



My Bets on the commander, no Jammer in fleet, but if theres no Commander a Jammer or Detector as a new ship would be Really cool :D

Oooo. Paracite. I like that one. A ship that steals slowly from ships and maybe from planets as well. Did not realize I had suggested something like this, but I like the idea of a paracite.

Humm. I tried out Ogames. Seems like some of the ideas suggested by MoM come from that game. Not a bad game, but not sure how much support there would be for scavenger ships in this game. On the other hand, if exploded planets had a cost to obliterate but resources left behind to scavenge after obliteration, this might be interesting.

what if you made like special ship like ones that could have the power to take like starting off at 5 mil defence but if you train them like 20 mill defence but each player could only have one and they would cost like a million iron

A bit too much there dragon... maybe cost would be more like 10 million iron and a lot of other resources as well. Although, again this would allow vets quite an advantage over new players that didn't have this. We need to think of things that will add to strategy, we don't want players with more playing time to be invincible just because of resources...

I think an idea for a ship that you only get one of is this:

Shroud - If placed over a sun, would not allow the warp to place ships near this sector.

This could have the point of protecting a HW, or a spare green planet, or to stop interlopers taking the system you just found through the warp. It would have no defense, piracy, hyperdrive or anthing like that, and be a small volume, say 5k max. Only one would be available at any time to a player, and it only works when on the sun square itself, and the player pressed the shroud button, which would take a little time to register. So another player could still have 1-2 minutes to get through the warp before it is blocked.

I don't like the idea of a ship you could only have one of. Annoying to code I think.
