To be honest, I don't know. Iiridayn knows and Kotica and DAngel a few others on the SL Concil, but I intentionally did not look at who submitted them with the exception of the first one, as I immediately recognized that as the Warp from Merchant Empires. I asked who submitted that one, and Iiridayn (Michael) told me it was from Andy. Nice picture, but I voted against it myself as I think it would be better to have something original to our community if we can.

Am I too late?

OK first, most "warps" look like minature galaxies, I think they should look more like black holes or smth...

Ship detection range. Can I have your attention please? :D Probe range or nearby range is WAY WAY too large!! You could scan around your planets with them and find assaults at once. Shall we have to send our assaults 1000 clicks from planets and then fly on extreme or click manually?

I think that ship detecting should be an upgrade like hyperdrive or pirate but a damn expensive. Planets should NOT detect ships.

I'm telling you there will be a problem, a single probe can do 250 squares to each direction (right?) and if it'll detect ships we'll have to send them thousands of squares away from the planets... :S
I think there should be a special probe for ship detection with much lower range.

That sounds like a good idea. Or maybe if you select the ship detection upgrade, the range just automatically decreases. Saves having to introduce a new ship.

Another option is probe can detect ship being in area, but not exact coords of the ship. Like intrusion detection is now. Which goes about as far out as probe detection already.

Survey results on WARP selection:

#2 won with total score of 50 points (love it is 2 points, hate it is -2 points)
#1 in second place, with 40 points.

Results on ideal or target number of planets:
16 voted for 18k planets
14 voted for 15k planets
14 voted for 12k planets
14 voted for 10k planets
3 voted for 8k planets
0 voted for 6k planets

Outcome - we will keep adding planets at one system every 10 minutes, automatically, until number of planets reaches 12k. Then, speed at which planets are added will be cut to half that level until planets reach 15k. If planets drop below 12k, speed will be increased to 10 minutes per new system added again. If planets hit 15k, speed of planet addition will be reduced by half again.
