Just a note I have noticed since I do not think it has been said on here, but SP planets do not have their production points increase each month like they used to. So eventually, all normal SPs will be 10x- only player planets are gaining points each month.

Also- the strength of Aliens increases- so they will produce troops and other resources just like players- so the longer they sit the tougher they are- this Alien change seems to be somewhat unintended from what I heard, so it might change, but might not.

Additionally I would suggest to make new SP planets to have random production points from 10 to 20. Because in long term will be hard to come by with 20x planets. So most off alien planets would be 500k strong. Reducing non hw points income by half. Additionally this would be possibility for new player to find 20x planets.

Thank you Cajin for bringing this to the broader audience; an oversight as I may have forgotten to post about it in prior topics.

Currently veteran players have indicated to me that no matter how rare 20x planets become (even if it was the only one in the game), if anybody has their coords and captures them, even if they captured them back they would simply obliterate them. This suggests to me that 20x planets are not very valuable in practice compared to anonymity, so decreasing their availability shouldn't be a big issue compared to having more planets available to move to.

While I would like to have the information game not be the only one that matters, I recognize that in the absence of meaningful tradeoffs in active defenses, information is the most effective defense. Modern militaries have turned to separation and information advantages to defend against modern weapons with large radius; similarly, SL players have found it necessary to spread out and hide because other players can quickly devastate a chain of nearby harvesting planets while they are offline.

While I don't necessarily want to bring SL battles to the bronze age of heavily armored shoving matches, I would be open to suggestions to make defending harvesting planets more interactive. Defensible production planets might naturally provide some advantages for clustering, for example, if defense response time can be reduced.
