Note, can now paste coords into the Hyperjump box, can't type/tab them in anymore, need the colons- takes a little getting used to- can't put my usual go to spot in very easy now |

So is it going to get shifted on the I-Flight section too? |

I can't tell you how excited I am for this change. But where did this come from? I need some patch notes!

Kind of a pain I am finding... think would be more beneficial for i-flight |

Agreed, though i-flight has a much more complicated page. I can put it back, and I should probably have made it a link (maybe default, with a fallback to the older method, or activate it if you tab out, etc) - but waiting for time to build something like that is why I hadn't done it yet. I wanted to jump a scout to a nearby, and wanted to paste in the coordinates, and decided that since I could quickly and people have asked for it over the years that I might as well. I can put it back or add the prior method as a fallback or something if I need to - sorry for the disruption to existing habits .

You know what would be a great? Have a new menu under the profile section labelled "settings." And have things like that be a switchable option similar to the timezone and country toggles.

How about put the old method on top of the new so we could use either one |

@ROS No account level settings - they are only the right choice occasionally, and tend to create more complex programming and hide options away from where they are needed. For example, you'd probably want to change the coordinate entering next to entering the coordinates, instead of going somewhere else .

Ah that makes sense, well hey whatever we can do to ensure we keep this new text field I'm good with!

Or something you've mentioned before is making beacon point with invisible ships, perhaps another clickable drop down menu of them |

@Cajin I really like that idea... glad I suggested it . Lol. Well, aside from not having free time, I have the first step out of the way for some smaller changes - don't have to worry about the whole system breaking as often. Still need to clean up the old code so I can maintain it though - mixed PHP/HTML/CSS/SQL is a bit difficult to upgrade . Kinda want to throw on some JS enhancement as well... seeing ships move in the BZ has long been a goal (as well as making it easier to attack ships in the BZ when you see them... Clicking through a bunch of menus is a bother).
