Mostly that is what they refer to, though if I recall correctly some years back there was a touch of data loss following a 1.5 year downtime. It was dying long before that - it's been dying almost since it first came online though, and if I can keep it online, will probably still be dying in years to come. I'm more or less committed to hosting it until it dies (or takes off, in which case I might have to outsource the hosting). Hosting SL doesn't take a great deal of time or effort unless something goes wrong, and then I have the community holding me to task .

As a programmer I wish that I had the time to give SL more (prograaming) love - it needs some, could maybe grow with a lot. SL needs (but doesn't have) a real sysadmin. SL really strongly ought to have someone or more dedicated to customer support and community involvement - right now the community largely plays that role.
