I know some of the players here play other games.
In almost every other game I have played, there have been competitions, events, etc.
I propose if it is possible to have events for set periods of times e.g.,
Double Xp Weekend.
Double Points for captures of planets under 500k defense.

Theres alot of things which could be done for events and I think it would be a real good opportunity to bring some more activity to the game.

'Events' like that would make the game more interesting indeed, but note that most of these games have paid, full-time developers and programmers on their team, and we have, however skilled Will may be, nothing of the sort. We can't ask him to code for days on end each week for just one event.

The events could be made into process's and just told when to start etc.
Given the fact that council meetings are weeks apart, I'm sure Will could spend some time on coding some events.

Fix the Newbie Arena..

..I will not support a single proposal of these sorts until the New Players' problems have been fixed, the video tutorials have been implemented, and more players begin to play this game.

Events won't do in attracting players if they can't get through the missions.

Fix the new player arena?
Will is working on it, they arnt simple fixes which can just be done. Finding what is causing them is the real problem.
If the council meets more regularly and votes on things to be implemented they will be done.
New player videos are down to me, but without the councils vote I cannot get them implemented.

Yes, and let's not sidetrack will with updates which are extraneous and quite frankly, unnecessary in the present moment.

Council can meet however often they wish, I'm just suggesting that we not get ahead of ourselves and our capabilities.

I believe anything -- videos, mentors, etc. -- will be useful in comparison to the present system. Make missions easier, make them more friendly, make them shorter, make them profitable, make them want players to continue to play. THEN we can go over more tactical proposals.

The present program is a handful to fix at present.
Adding nore patches and extra's is not needed at this time.
