	I haven't seen it much in Europe, but in the US a lot of folks do custom paint jobs where they start with a base coat of darker base color, like deep blue. They then suspend metal flakes in a lighter version of the same color and cover it with a nice thick layer of clear. If the paint dude is good, the effect can be really nice. It's awesome on big old American steel.

	yeah but one of the hardest paint jobs to master is PEARL........ where the different sets of colors can be seen by different views of the car.... google pearlescent paint
