He did a long time ago, back when SI was RNA and acted as the training clan for TSR. When TSR merged with Armageddon to form TS I was talked to about joining The Swarm, it just never happened

Never hated the Swarm, although, I do remember a long time ago when a certain tiger decided to pounce upon a 15 planet long chain of mine... so much for peace and friendship
