Harvesting made no harm to the game. If it was ability to make another account or to involve friends - that could be fixed easily. It was just a nice tactic with its charm and very modest gains. Many victims harvested themselves, many oblitered planets, many got inactive forever. Vets who log in rarely are as good victims as noobs, who make accepting extremely rarely. You take the resources before news refreshed and many don't even notice they lost something. Just one more interesting tactic died because of annoying smell the profit flows to liths

The disadvantage of retaking planets is cheap points without any risk. You normally crash 1,9M T to gain 15k points. With current shield you can crash only 800k (300k on a 20x planet and 500k on a trained assault) to gain 15k points. 2,5 times cheaper, no resources from enemy planets can cover this advantage. And you can make exact amount of points you need on exact time you need. This had to be a problem, not harvesting.

I don't mind anybody making points, personally. However, I do take issue with meta-game thinking, from any brain regardless of nationality.

Assault training is training. Using Inactives or willing actives to "rules lawyer" points is cheap. As was using inactive vets as farms At least with all of the HW smashing and the change over we lost alot of that capability....

So basically, when you transfer planets, do they get all points unallocated?
Because someone from CidG gave me planets (thanks) and all production was set on gold.

Bert2, sitting and gaining interest is cheap. Sitting and collecting resources from your planets is cheap. That tactic was not cheap, it was difficult and required skills and efforts. If you let your Hw without shield raised - it's your fault, not the attackers' if you lose your hw. If you call the attaker's action cheap because he chose the weakest victim i don't understand you. If you let accepting on and are not capable to track the situation it is your fault as well.

Our task was to hide the news, community task should have been to inform players about being used and to make damage for competitors. That's what i call competition beauty, not just clicking attack button. I can live without retaking and i agree there are issues with retaking planets. But the way it was forbiden was really not nice.

It's cheap to do, the planets produce resources and then you merely have to spend 50 hydro and "x" amount of uranium per system, or even nothing if you can produce enough resources on each system to transfer most resources via the market.

lol sry guys,i didn't know that was illegal. I was not doing it for the points though. I mean think about it, i'm a 5 star, there's no way i can get 1st place with alot of the other 5 stars up there that are better than me and have more resources than me, CIDG isn't going to win this round, and in other words i wouldn't benefit from getting credits. I only did that as a joke, apparently none of you took it that way just ask proffessor to take away 20k points from my profile or something like that, lol next time i will do SP planets
