If you look at the dates, they're the same too, so prolly it was indeed the double defeat glitch in some cases. However, that still leaves significantly more than 500 defeats.

ya...that sure was a good glitch...in the news when u defeated somebody..they would show the planet that u took before you took the planet that would defeat them..and it would say you defeated them when you captured the planet that defeated them actually and it would show another defeat on top of that so it was like two defeats per one defeat
