that is the question many have asked over the past year or more.

Instead of answering this question with a yes or no (with no the dominant answer from the past), I have decided:

First, there will be no reset of skylords, but we will have a database cleanup to increase speed, which will involve:

1. All player accounts that have less than 60 posts for people who have not logged in for more than 60 days will be deleted (with all posts and TOPICS from any such player deleted as well).

2. All planets and ships of such players who are deleted will be deleted.

Second, there will be a NEW skylords server set up sometime this summer which will be a new version of the game, with no resources, no points, and no existing accounts. A complete reset, but in a completely new game environment.

1. Credit sales will not be offered during the first three months of the new game environment.

2. Market resources will not be available for sale unless someone has something to trade.

3. Voting daily or weekly will be the only way to get credits for upgrades or market trades.

4. All forums will be reset, and there will be no ability to access or post in forums across game versions.

TO RESTATE, there will be NO RESTART OR RESET, but there will be a new game server and new game version set up sometime this summer.

I will say this cuase i think proff think i am in favor of game reset. ( i might have in the past but not now)

nor do i like this idea of two skylords. this one and one that i sa start form scratch for every one.

i see one of two things happening.

too many people stop playing this one and go to the new one and it will be a vitual reset becuse there will not be enough players here. or the ones that play both will spend too much time in the new one to become top dog there that this one will die.

no this idea of another skylords to appease the reset wanters is just like giving into them.

and you will not get enough support to keep both of them going.

i think you should reconsider this idea.

only one will survive the question is wich one will. if the new game is going to be the survivor but some of us stay here and it goes down and we still wnat to play we will be forced to start over in the new one but by that time everyone else that went over right away will be way a head of us. so that will force all of us to have an account over there and try to be top dog over there and this one will suffer.
so you are basically restarting the game if you start a new one.

Just clean this game up without resetting it and forget about 2 versions of the game . Hell U hardly have enough people to play this on let alone 2 of them

Two games simply means a reset to this one as already stated by jsd78977.

But i'm not against the new server, especially when there will be that 3 month period Credits for money and interest are the two things that could ruin the competition same as here. If there won't be these two features there, i'll definetely move to the new server.

WHY should we reset SL?

I thought one reason was to get more new players staying alive.

If we do no changes for SL (reset or whatever) there will be no new situation.
As someoneelse wrote:

I do not see sense in making a second SL.
