Would be more precise "That's why we've talked about this 3 month hiatus from changes" ;)

Not really. We had a problem at end of November round. That problem has been solved, although, as Filas pointed out correctly, the solution was too strong in effect and caused other problems. I do not always agree with Filas, but I must admit that he is often right when we disagree.

As for changes, the next set of changes will move us closer to a compromise between where we were in December, which was not sustainable, and where we are now, which also is not sustainable long term.

As for a reset, I think not. However, I might be open to starting up a new version of the game where players who wish to do so can play from startup with new accounts. We would have to set up a separate server host for that world, so it probably will not happen until sometime this summer, when Iiridayn finishes a rewrite of the game code, which would probably be sometime in July or August.

This current version of skylords will continue and will evolve, but a new skylords parallel universe will be launched as a full new game environment using a new game engine, with everyone who wants to play there starting from scratch. Also, purchases of credits will not be allowed for the first three months in that game environment, and the only way to get credits will be to vote for the game on game rating sites.

I will give existing SL players the ability to "reserve" names in the new game with the same name and password and email address before the game launches, if they wish, to save time and convenience, as well as to avoid having someone log on quickly and take the name of SmartFox or Hope before either of these two can get logged in. No obligation to reserve a space or name in the new game verison, but want to avoid having names "stolen" if possible.

We have a great political scandal at the moment in Lithuania (we always have some), where the mayor of our capital and a leader of a huge party is accused of helping one suspiciuos company a lot (and he's supposed to be really a sly person). Therefore many famous people separated from his party and wanted to establish their own, with a similar name. Oh, that was extremely fun when "unknown person" registered that name first :D

We do not have near enough players to start up a new version of the game. 100 active players? I mean what so now we will have 50 players a game, that is ridiculous, think of a better solution. Stop being miserly with your resources, and just start over. Let everyone start on equal footing. I am also not oppsed to the idea of restarting every 3 rounds. That would keep the game balanced to everyone.

well, it already is repetitive, log on harvest log out. So what do you propose, just leave the game as it is? Well arent you a bit hypocritical.

obviously you agree to changes every other month?

this way prof can make the changes on the new server before we all get there, even maybe using one active server and one unactive he can maybe make it so that one is upgraded etc, while the other is left alone for say a year, then we pretty much reset there with us all moving to a second server

The way however prof has outlined i see no problem with
