Yeah I think that the proff should increase the points for taking out inactive HW's to help clear out the inactives from the game.

There are always players who will attack for points and the prestiege. Some for just revenge. You told me that you could keep your HW safe and that it was the same as someone who didn't have a HW, You got attacked for it, now that we can't use the market for storage, we'll see some more HW's. Having a HW means Having Risk. Now we are being paid to be a target :S not my solution but it beats the alternatives.

"You told me that you could keep your HW safe and that it was the same as someone who didn't have a HW, You got attacked for it, "

well, I kept my HW safe - I've got attacked, but I lost almost nothing and attackers lost much more - I lost my HW only when I attacked myself :D If I would not attack, I would now have HW with 100mln defence already and I doubt anyone would try to attack it :) You can look at professor HWs - even now no one attacks any bigger one. Only if he gets defence very low and shield off, someone can capture some of his planets... So even now no one attacks real big HWs and with these changes would be max 1-2 HWs per month captured. And hundreds of HWs grown... So risk to loose Hw in such conditions is very small and income is huge. And this means abslutely no chances for noobs as the best targets will be small noobish HWs...

I do get attacked. As for Filas comment about why would I defend a planet with "only 15M defense" when I could do so much more. Well, I could if all I wanted to keep was one or two planets, but I prefer to keep as many planets "safe" from obliteration as I possibly can. I protect my x16 and higher planets with defenses.

Some players obilterate green x20s that they find via the warp for fun. As for me, I think high production point planets are rare enough that I try to protect them. Yeah, I lose a few here and there, and I have several planets at 45M to 50M defense now so I can build level three buildings and turrets and keep them safe.

As for inactives, the incentive to attack is mostly that they are less likely to attack back or to have turrets on the planet (turrets are low points and a bit risky to attack, so less appealing to go after if all you care about it points).

I am not going to make attacks on some types of player planets payoff in more points than other types of player planets, nor will I get into the game of defining when someone is inactive but returning (e.g., Delloman recently) or inactive and never expected to return. No, there are player planets and SP confed planets, and those are the only distinctions between planet types.

I have been mostly absent lately and there are a couple of questions to ask:

1. Bert said you can;t keep res on market anymore. why is that?

2. Prof said players find greens through warp. has that changed so as lonely greens can be found through warp nou?

and yes, there should be a topic where one can learn about ALL current changes to the game. i can;t imagine how newbies or returning vets can learn those things since i have trouble following the game modifications

By the end of January, you will not be able to keep resources on market. But, now you can.
