PathFinder, I agree that market is not being used as originally intended. However, this is not a minor change in coding and it will take time to make this change happen. Sorry we can not move as fast as you would like, but on issue more urgent right now for early January is to spend some focused time on reviewing code to see if we can determine why lag happens.

I think warp inhibitor building for HWs with high defence is another step towards brining back the HWs :) Maybe increased shields, but I voted for them to stay at 250% as they are now.
All ship penalties and reassigning ships... NO.

I like shield strength increased a bit more
Also warp inhibitor
And intrest

That should bring hws back and shield strength means they are not constantly on the run
Looks like future rounds are gonna be good :D

This is also realistic, databases do not just hand over data to enemy forces. I assume that defending forces would log off and attempt to disable all systems on the planet so it would take some time to disect the systems and find relivant information :)

Agreed. Not a bad alternative, in my opinion. However, it would give players who are extremely active (like SmartFox) effective immunity from the net effect of ships being assigned to planets. On the other hand, players who are less active and less agressive SHOULD be investing more in defenses than players who are online all the time and so can defend by being online and diligent in defending their turf.

SmartFox is not really online all the time, by the way. It just seems like it, and he is definitely on at least once per day with rare exceptions.
