I agree with neggy tho, the market needs to be tied to planets, resources cant just vanish, and its impractical to do so, the faster that is done, the better.

yes but that would add a little more strategy to the game....i mean when you use those assaults would become more important and youd have to strategize according to how big of a target you are:P likke taking out a key attackers HW before they have the chance to attack would make a devestating blow to the clan and the player

Yes but ships dont just disappear and I would be thoroughly :censored: off if i lost the same amount of ships as I did last time.

Incase anyone forgot, 50+ fighters, 90+ assaults (from 50k to 500k), 3 2.5mil transports, and several other ships.

And that was by pressing the Leave planet button. :D

can i say something...no, ok


what makes a ship safer in space, than a planet sitting in space, the fact that a planet can be probed/nearby'd/or warped


you think an enoumouce transport ship, carrying 1-2.5 mill roops wouldnt be noticable?
im sure it would give more of an energy reading, than a x9 planet with 5 troops and each reas.

maybe, we give ships a type of "radar"..ship to ship radar
small ships like fighters would only be able to detect maybe an area of 20 parsecs or so.
larger, more complicated ships( like 2,5 mill trans) would havr a more complicated OS/array, and thus detect ships farther away, maybe give the invisbale ship the highest range, since it is kindof like a scout..
but, it would have to be made, so solar radiation distrupst this radar, so ships close to suns, aren't detected

I think we are talking about storing resources on ships problem, not market.

THAT IS UNSOLVABLE LET'S JUST GIVE UP :D

I agree with Chaos. It is pointless to force people not to store res on ships. it can be done but it would probably make trading and other actions difficult.

best way is to make use of cost of opportunity: make HWs useful or neccesary again. and this can be done in a number of ways. Prof, Bert and Deemers have quite good ideas on this ...
