you get more points for capturing bigger defence planet - it's obvious

and I think increasing of shield strenghth is mistake, as now 20x shield is getting defence like 25x shield earlier. The difference is just that you can't have 25 gathering points... And the main reason of limiting points to 20x was to limit shield strenghth...

As I understood it from Zygi, the main reason he reset the production to x9 after 20 rounds was that x21 production would cause a problem in the games code or something like that. I'm pretty sure nothing was mentioned about limiting shield strength at the time.

I'm talking not about Zygi reset, but about current gathering points limit, which is 20 now. And it is possible to have much more points - you can see it on System Administrator planet (if you know coords, of course )

but i think the defence of the shield only works up to 20x ...or atleast thats what i thought i read....or maybe im wrong

For us 20 points is max - for shield or for gathering. But it's limited not because of program problems - I saw planets with more points earlier.
