You then select a the next attacking ship and attack planet. The attack happens in less than one second for all turrets, and you can attack with as many players and as many ships as you would like, but each fighter attacks all turrets remaining until it survives them all or dies trying to kill them.

It is complicated to explain analysis and tradeoffs and criteria to design turrets.

However, attacking with fighters and building turrets is simple.

Turrets also require 10 minutes per turret to build, and can only be built one at a time. So, like ship training, an investment of time is required to get a lot of turrets on a planet.
