I've always wondered about this, England are better at Cricket, Rugby and Soccer (all world wide sports) for sure, but America is better at American Football, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball and Athletics (Only one of which could really be called a world wide sport). But what is more important? Being good at a sport that is played world wide, or being good at lots of sports?

The US can kick Englands ass in swimming thats a worldwide sport, and one way to check is to look at the olympics the US got way more medals last time then UK but lets wait and see for this time

well hockey is a world wide sport and so is basketball (both in olympics)

true but i would have to say the world wide sports are more important not just the sports u play in one specific country because it does not give a good comparison
