After gathering up all my resources, I toss my transporter ship into space at a random set of coordinates (for obvious reasons), and a thought occurred to me...

..Has anyone actually found a ship or a planet by sheer luck from doing this?

Now I expect the answer to be "no", due to the odds being so very low, but I thought I'd ask the question anyway.

I've never found stuff just at random, but SD2 claimed to have found a planet that way.

i've found random greens while moving to other places manually, because i used to be able to move 5 clicks per second pretty much so it was faster than I-flight, especially in the BZ, i found like 4 green 20x planets lower in the BZ before it went from 1000:1000:1000 to 100 100 100.

Actually that's surprised me, more found than I expected
Not that I expect to find anything by luck, the odds are still very, very low. But gratz to those who did!!

in all of my time I've found 1 planet and 1 assault and I've had LOTS of ship movements
