Actually, I don't think he hits the warp button, it's probably the 'enter battlezone' button that he presses.

cant be that, you have to be at either -2 or +2 or higher/lower, to enter battlezone, if you're at 0 on the z axis, you cannot enter the battlezone, he probably hits warp or goes up/down twice.
