Looking at the battle from your perspective, if you attack my ship and destroy it you will go to the open space screen and your experience and stats on that ship will increase. If you attack my ship and fail to destroy it, your ship will be destroyed and you will be given a message saying "Build a better ship next time!". Both scenarios will appear in the news (http://www.skylords.com/news) which is visible to everyone. The news is reset every day @ 12:00 am MST. If the news resets before you see the message you can download an archived record of a prior day's news from the "Archived Global News" button. If you are online when someone attacks you your news button will also turn red to notify you. Similarly your forums button will turn red if someone pm's you.
