Sorry to all those who had difficulty using the game over the past several days. I have known about this problem for the past 2 days, and have been unable to fix it until now. For the curious, I was forced to run the cron job that should have run 2 seconds after midnight manually, and discovered that that job forced MySQL into a deadlock condition from which it could not recover. Doubtless this created numerous problems around round end. If anything vital has gone missing let me know, and I'll see if I can restore it.

In other news, two of our very large and venerable clans died over this past round change, namely The Swarm and Space Cowboys. We mourn their passing. Now the way is open for many other clans and new players to contend for the spot which they once claimed. They will continue on in our hearts and in our memories regardless. Long live our memories of the lost.

As a note, with Simba closing his account and I think Zype just sticking his head in for a minute, we'll probably lose LTC after this round too if it deletes clans due to 0 points. Which will make Apocalypse the oldest clan.
