In the game how do you get/build carriers?

Go to ships, design a model if you haven't already, then there are two fields on the left to enter the planet you're building it at and the model.

There isn't a carrier model actually, not sure what it might represent on the main page, possibly an assault that carries troops since the other ship in the picture has hyperjump and would presumably be a tranny |

there was talk a few years ago about making a space version of an aircraft carrier but it was never implemented

i think carriers woud make it much easier for big HW attacks... but besides that i dont see any point besides large BZ battles, which would also be nice |
