McAffee=horrible, include Norton in here as well, AVG is really good, so is avast! antivirus...

Though it sounds like a weird program in itself...

Dogg, the only reason that Macs don't really get viruses is that no one really uses them that hackers would want to cause chaos to, they and most of the consumers use a Windows based PC, that is why many viruses are there...

Linux is the same way...I think Linux only has like 10 or a little more viruses to them and they have been fixed...

Actually Mac has no viruses mainly because all of the hackers making the windows viruses use a Mac, and they don't want to infect themselves, that and Windows is a gigantic security loophole

And Norton works really well, AVG is great for free, but sometimes paying is better you know

I have never have good luck with Norton or McAffee...but AVG was good...

Though right now Avast! Antivirus works perfect and it catches basically everything...at least that I can see that causes problems...

On another note: Spybot S&D isn't bad, though its teatimer applications is the worst nuisance app in existance...

I haven't had any problems with norton yet and I've been using it for about 4 or 5 months now

I honestly haven't actually used Avast or AVG, but I know I haven't had problems with norton

I don't use any antivirus monitor at all Just scan my PC once a month with Avira AntiVir.

I use AVG (I prefer free seeing as most commercial software is bogus, though i know that some are decent.) ThreatFire (This is a great anti-virus to run along side with normal signature anti-viruses), and Comodore Firewall. (Just for protection.)
