know how to crop a photo?

Use MS Paint, it comes standard to any computer (assuming you have a Windows OS) and it has a crop feature. Or you can use photoshop. Hell, even photobucket works.

Or to make your life easier, next time im on MSN send me the picture and i'll crop it for you lol.

lol scene is right...open the photo in MS paint and then use the box to crop it takes about 15 seconds I use it for alll my article pictures for highlights etc

Don't listen to them, use a program called GIMP, It's like photoshop but free.

GIMP is probably overkill for just cropping a photo, but it is a great (free and open-source) program. I also recommend it (as does my spinning eye).

Most photo viewing helper programs like iPhoto, Preview, etc. have a built-in crop function.

Of course, all this assumes that we are discussing an electronic image and not an actual photo paper image. In that case, I recommend scissors or a paper cutter.

He didn't want an entire photo editing software. He asked how to crop. If he would have asked for a good editing software, i'm sure i could have provided a better alternative to GIMP DrDysdy.
