That's crazy. I was one of the pioneers of Fate lords. I was actually the one who suggested to the creators to use clones for attacking planets. And they implemented it (Crazy eh). Yea before clones we use to have massive fleets of bombers... clones were useless, you'd get too many so you'd have to take em off your planets and just dump em into space to keep you planets optimal.

My screen name was the same, always has and always will. Are there any members left from the clan Darkside?

And i agree with Scene, Kilel you really do need to grow up. I've read a few of your posts now throughout the forum and you really are annoying. No offense, just thought you should know.

Lets see, as far as i know, there are no active DS members in SL. Nor DUF members (i was a part of DUF lol, i was the only exception ever made seeing as im actually american).

Most of the older generation FL players are too busy with there own lives at the moment and none of them really liked SL much. It was always a competition between the two games lol.

The two games, though pretty similar ... are completely different when it comes to style of game play. SL has always been much more relaxed and active, while FL was for more hardcore players.

^^^^^ So very true. You had to be at the computer at least once every 2 hours. Specially when you had millions of bounties against your empire and your clan. FL was pretty cut throat, but like you say they are both completely different for game play.

Not to mention the fact that in order to find planets you had to know how to probe correctly, which took hours and hours lol.

Most of FL game-play was based on probing xD.

Yea... I had more than 100 pages filled with coordinates... Had pretty much the entire galaxy probed. The piss off was new players would start in already probed sections and slip under the radar so you had re-probe every once in a while. Now they mad it easy... hit the nearby planet button lmao. They also had a cool feature on your planets where you could build a shield generator which made you planet not only incredibly strong, but it also made it invisable to probes. Which is how buying coordinates got so popular. Man there were massive space battles back in the day. Not sure what its like now.

People used to put fighters all the way around and on a planet also so you had to kill at least 2 fighters before you could bring in the bombers to start bombing thier defences.

I think these days the space battles aren't quite what they used to be. But they still kept the challenge. Your attacks had to be organised to a 't' otherwise you'd be flying ships back home while your enemy picks you off before you jump your ships back into hyperspace.

There were some crazy clan battles i tell you. But anyway, i'm rambling...
