The change in using gold instead of hydrogen for barracks will be implemented soon, but that module has a large effect on the game response, so I am having it tested before switching over to new production function. So, this will take a couple days before it is ready to go. Sorry about the delay, but my programmer is not working on New Years Day.

Does this explain why the game response speed has dropped? Or is that a personal problem limited only to me?

I checked the new point system a little today.
Killing a 1k volume 1k/0 fighter with 0 exp gives 7 points. According to the formula this should be 1000/500+1000/250+0/1000+0/2=6 points. Where does that 1 point come from?

Finally killed a turret after terrible streak of failures. That gave me 18 points. Thought it should be something 40000/1000+5000/250=60. Or even +8000/500.
Nothing bad it's not much, but would be nice to know why 18 and not 19 let's say? :)

I think the formula may have a rounding up function, which needs to be changed to round down. I will fix it over the next few days to eliminate this extra point.

You are correct. This needs to be fixed. Turret should have:

turret points = 40000(defense)/1000+5000(attack)/250+8000 (iron)/500 = 40+20+16 = 76.

I believe that I have fixed both of these mistakes now. However, it might be good to have someone check.

More is not better if it leads to training by killing ships for points. That was part of the problem with the old formula that gave 10 points for any ship of any size. Just kill lots of minimum ships to jump up points.
