now correct me if i'm wrong, but small ship = small engine but lower feul consumption

actually shouldnt it be opposite? Smaller ship goes faster because its smaller |

not really, while that may be true for things like cars, as vehicals get bigger they can go faster, actually about cars, if you made a very small car it could not beat the speed set by the thrust jet car, while the engines are completly different, the engine was huge but allowed a ground vehicle to beat the sound barrier

no but being able to put in more complex, more powerful engines do, nuclear reactors need alot of room but give out sheds loads more power than a same size combustion engine
