Ok...let's say that someone like he who must not be named (*cough, skylark, cough*) gets banned and has their ip blocked. Then they go to an IP anonymizer site and join SL again, except they do well. They earn respect and they then reveal that they are that said person who was banned...

OR lets say that they decide to rape various anonymizer programs and attempt to use them to gangbang the SL forums...

I suppose I would base my actions on what he got banned for in the first place. Swearing or small stuff like that I would let go.

Then again, he is circumventing the system that was put in place to keep him out. I would equate that to breaking out of jail.

Proof that nagging really does work!

If he ever did come back, a few would forgive him and give him a second chance. If he came back in the manner described, some would forgive him because he had clearly changed and grasped the game better. But some would think that leopards do not change their spots - he's still the scumbag he always was. That decision would have to be made by each individual player.

However from an administration point of view, the player has been IP banned and had his account closed. If he were to find a way round this and return, then reveal himself. I personally would ban him because he has not been unbanned from the game. It would be like using a false ID to get into a club. You could get in, but if you're found out, you're escorted from the premises and not allowed back in.
