mazera no they are not just pop ups.. i had the same exact thing b4... down in the bottom corner in the toolbar there was a big flashing x and like every 30sec to a min it would come up wit a notification that there was a lethal virus and to get the latest spyware from so n so site.. and everytime i tried to open the internet the homepage would b that site.. no matter how much i changed it... i tried to wait it out for like 2 months and everyonce in a while it would go away for a day or so.. but then it would come back.. my step dad had to completely whipe the computer and put all the needed stuff back on it

Can't some spyware remover or antivirus eat it? Maybe it's in your startup list?

click click on your toolbar... click on Properties. Click on customize. See if what you dont want is there and get rid of it. That should fix your toolbar problem..

okay, guys, 1st, you're not really getting rid of it (Tweaker). You're just covering it up hoping that it won't bother you anymore. I hope that you guys don't have any sensitive info on your comps cause those may be worms trying to find crap on your comp. If you just tell it to stop showing the pop-up, it's still on there, possibly still getting your info.
