b4 we start talking about this stuff, i just want to say that i do not want this to be turned into an emotional argument all about "u suck!"..."i'm better than u u stupid atheist!" or "retard, there is no way God can be real"

well i'll say my personal belief

i'm a Christian as you all probably know, but i'm not one of those obsessive creationists, i believe in evolution and the big bang and all that and that the Bible is just a metaphor (well most of it) based off true events to teach us moral values...but i still believe God had some interfearance w/ evolution, because no matter how long it took, i just don't see how we got as smart as we did by mere "chance" and i don't see how offspring "naturally" change to fit into the environment

the theory of evolution is that offspring vary slightly from their parents (they dont 'change to fit their environment' ). those that are better able to survive do so, and so pass on those changes to their offspring who again are more able to survive, and may undergo mutation themselves.

So you understand how this could happen for a giraffes neck? those with bigger necks are able to eat more and so survive. those that keep short necks are out-competed and die out. well intellegence is simply another attribute. all life has something we could call intellegence to some degree, in humans it has simnply gone further than anywhere else...

well i guess you're right...but what about zebras? they say they look disguised as grass yet theyre black and white..
"but animals don't see in color so it doesn't matter" but why wouldn't they just blend in anyway in color?..i also saw that it's kinda like an optical ollusion to the predator cuz they're balck and white and travel in packs...but tell me what does a lions age ahve to do w/ a zebra's environment?

but yeah i hear the theory is that its hard for a predetor to focus on one zebra when they're all running together, and so gives up - cant tell where to run or how far/fast.

as for your second post. well yeah it's true. evolution does not need god. it doesnt exclude god (just like it doesnt exclude the flying spaghetti monster - you saw that post right ).
