Killing fighters that come near the planet. SD might have been the last ship to be able to safely attack with no turrets on the planet, and I am killing fighters that come near with my homeland defense fighter, which can shoot hard and fast without being at risk of being fired upon due to shooting out from within the planetary shields (docked ships can not be killed, but can shoot at other ships from safety, which gives the defender who is online a significant advantage).

Even telling me to check PMs and to come out and play in the real battle zone away from the planet will not distract me from my homeland defense duties of protecting turrets under construction (one at a time construction program, so as not to lose many turrets that are still defenseless due to attack before construction is finished).

It only takes 10 minutes to build each one. Once I get to 10 of them, they will be more expensive to defeat. You can kill them, but not without a cost that is slightly higher than the cost of building them.

Darn. Attacked CVS transport, by accident (shoot first, think later mode of battle) and got killed. Then, got call from attorney and had to break away from game for a few minutes to deal with real life issues. During that time, ROS2 killed my turrets. Shoot.

Guess I will have to wait for a slow time in the battle zone action to rebuild them now, so the planet is open to assaults attacks again. Of course, only if you want to send your assaults into the middle of a battle zone fight among enemy fighters!
