Professor: If you need the money, fine. If you are selling it because you have little time to admin it, fine too, but if you are selling because some people disagree with some of your decisions, bad idea. There is a diverse community of people that play this game and maybe there are times they forget it's free and intented to be for enjoyment. Keeping this in mind, overall I'm sure everyone thinks you are doing a fine job. I also think we, as loyal players, would be hard pressed to find an admin who could do it better. Remember, you can please some of the people all the time and all of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time. The challenges are what make this game great.

Prof in order for you to become a regular player, you have to destrroy all but maybe 3-4 maxed out HWs and even thats stretching it. so maybe 2-3 maxed out. I never told you to sell the game and I never brought it up. i agree with Teldin you do want to make the game better most of the time. However your timing for bringing up changes is just horrible. It always appears that you bring up strategies to benefit yourself morre than anyone else and rightly so becaause you have not brrought up any changes that have hurt you as a player. Dont sell the game because you want to appear as a normal player, start over and go through and see what it is like to be a noob again. I can say exactly what it is like because I have gone through the position many and many timers over. If you are truly a good player well then rising to the top will happen in no time and you will earn more respect for it. The next change you should do should hurt you in some way and benefit the noobs. It should be based on morale and star levels. We keep giving you the ideas but you insist on making changes that appear to come out of nowhere. I can see where Teldin, Filas and everyone else is coming from, you cant please everyone all the time and you cant really deped on pollls all the time, but you have to use your best judgement. The breaking up of the interst is good, but it would have been better if 1 star noobs and 2 star noobs had better interest rates than vets. You have to look at all angles when you make decisions not just from your own or from the vets. Selling the game now wont slove any of these problems we will all jsut have to start over with the new buyer showing him the same things we had to show you shedding the same lightg we shed on you, and that gets tedious. After a year and a half of arguing we are not all excited to do it again. So I dont thing it would be a stretch to say that if you gave up ownership to someone who doesnt even play the game more and more people will gradually leave the game.

Well, lets see regarding your assertions:

1. Cutting interest and making it higher for players with less resources definitely hurt me.
2. Reducing shields definitely hurts me, as I have more planets with known locations and surviving only due to defenses on the planet than any other player.
3. Limiting credit purchases hurt me more than any other player.

These seem like changes made recently that have hurt me more than others, but then again, it probably won't matter to you, as you seldom see much good or altruistic in changes I make.

I've been critical of some decisions, however I do think that you're selling the game for a stupid reason. If you would care to look at Teldins poll, you'll find that all but one person thinks you are doing a good job overall. There are some comments there about why people have given low marks out of 1-10, but the fact is they're still reasonably happy with the course you've given Skylords over the last year.

Simple fact Professor, you're a good admin, a good player and a good man with good ideas. You know what you want from the game but you ask opinions as well, out of any of the games I've played you're easily the best owner and administrator. You being involved in the game isn't a bad thing, if anything it gives us something to aspire to. Don't quit just because some people don't like some of your policies.

Oh and Neggy/MoM, Prof wouldn't have to give up anything he has made, most of what he has he produced in the year before he was an administrator. If you'd care to look back at the points totals for rounds gone by you'd notice you rarely see Professor above 40th in the rankings.

I gave the lowest rank on the poll, and supplied an explanation, but I also put a "1", which, according to the post, means I'm happy overall with what you've done. I think you're a great admin and a great player, the 3 was simply for my personal dislike of the changes. I think you've done well so far, and even managed to put up with me (which can be pretty hard ) and my wish for the old SL to return. My advice, like in the other post, is to let the game stagnate a bit in between changes so we can see what happens when things are settled. Fresh changes always beget activity centered around the area that changed, so it's hard to actually guage (in my opinion) how much the change will actually effect the game.

You really are a good admin, and, though I've complained in the past about changes and about impartiality, I'd rather you stick around than someone who has never played before.
