This points score by SmartFox is particularly impressive since he was known by a different name when I started and only became SmartFox about a year ago, so he has reached nearly 5 million points in approximately 12 months.

The next four players in total points have been playing since the beginning or nearly the beginning of the game.

My points were earned during a timeframe similar to SmartFox's, but with most of the points much more recent, and involving a single attack that wiped out roughly half of my defensive resources in one battle. I am still recovering from that attack and only slowly rebuilding homeworld defenses now. I also spent a lot of credits in the process.

SmartFox has never purchased a single credit using cash (although he trades on the market a lot) and has achieved his points of 5 million in a year without use of any bugs to the best of my knowledge (and I have looked to try to find any evidence of foul play on his part due to his super-human performance which has, at times, appeared too good to be true -- I have never found any evidence of any abuse of game bugs on his part).

No credits, no bugs, and 5 million points in one year of playing under this account name. An impressive accomplishment.

And, no, in case you are wondering, I have not joined the SmartFox fan club. I will still take out any HW of his I can find and will still buy any HW anyone else takes from him for a nice price (and will make it one of my own HWs just to be mildly annoying). He also continues to take my production planets whenever he finds them as well.

But, I believe that praise of excellence should be given when it is due and earned. SmartFox is amazing!

LTCs only dodgy part was a fighter (bug) where it was really easy to get points in the earlier points. This was minimal really...
