you build it on a planet, and warp will not be able to go to that planet. however, the warp could still find other planets in the same system, so you need to have a building on each planet in the system.

This building will not be cheap to build. Safety comes at a price, and the resources needed to create the field needed to deflect the warp will be costly. The warp actually finds your planet, with this building, but it is then "moved" or deflected a random distance between 1000 and 2000 sectors away by the forces created in your warp deflection building.

So If you to want to protect 50 planets from the warp will require 10 000 000 silicon, 5 000 000 gold & 2 500 000 iron.

Yeah, protecting 50 planets will not be cheap. It is best to use this for planets you care about protecting. And, once it is built, it costs nothing to maintain. Yeah, I know, this is a bit unrealistic, but perhaps we could say it is maintained by the local population and compared out outputs of production from the planet, the cost of maintaining this building is not noticible or significant.
