There are many things viewed as "culture" where I live that I am totally repulsed by. Just because it's viewed as "culture" somewhere doesn't mean it isn't offensive.

The 'broadness' of a term such as "Offensive" is a pointless arguement. There are people who do not find murder offensive (thankfully I am not among them), so should murder not be considered offensive? No. Cursing was once considered universally offensive in public (not necessarily in private, obviously), and I find it just a bit sad that a teenager is the one preaching about not cursing on public forums. MoM, you're a good clan member and a pretty good friend, but your arguements are just...

Also, as Dios stated, reason does not determine severity. As an example let's use two people:
Person 1 kills Bob because Bob once robbed his house.
Person 2 kills Bob the Second because Bob II was alive.

Person 1 had a 'reason' () while 2 didn't, they both killed a fellow human.

Now can we please all shut up about it and leave it alone?

Neggy has been suspended numerous times for the same reason... he told everyone a while back via messenger that he would cut back on the swering... did he not? and he did so. He stopped swearing for quite some time... and now we are here. And HS, there is no reason what so ever to sware at anyone for any reason. It is against rules. So... it was wrong for person 1 to kill Bob for robbing his house. Just as it was for neggy to sware at his clanmate.

I agree with Twister from the beginning, that Professor' desescion was correct. He gave Neggy a warning. Neggy ignored the worning and swared even more, and Professor took action.
