Given the similarities between the name StarFox and SmartFox, with both being abbreviated the same, but with very different player affliations and personalities, StarFox would like to change the name of his character.

StarFox worked hard to get us to restore this prior name to him, and he also paid a 1000 credit fee for having his character name changed (to provide a minor barrier to everyone asking for a change in player name if cost was zero).

Given the situation with similar names and possible confusion, and the fact that he has paid 1000 credit fee for having his character name changed, I have agreed to this change in name.

If any other player in the game wants to have this same option or right, in the interest of fairness, I will also allow any other player to change their character name and keep their points on two conditions:

1. You have to post in forums who you were before, so there is no effort to hide your former identity.
2. You pay fee of 1000 credits to compensate for cost of the request and to reduce demand for changes.

There is no disadvantage to any player in the game of this change. In addition, if you wish to have a former name restored to you, which has been closed, with the points associated with that name, this can also be done for the same 1000 credits fee, with the requirement we gave StarFox of getting 10 player recommendations no longer required.

You can not combine points from acccounts, and you must have only one account at a time open, but we can close your current account and reopen a prior one or change the name of your existing account with payment of 1000 credit fee.
