I have nothing against prof too... but I think he MUST create another account for all tests, and keep his "professor" account clear from those 100 planets bugs ]:-(
then - he can be in any clan he wants with "prof" acc, attack any planet and HW, etc.
Other acc is for testing only - it can have 1mil planets, but with this acc he cannot attack any active player.

BTW - I think ANY change in this game is for good (if this change is not for only one person :D),
any, good or bad, but with those changes game become more interesting, more things to discuss. Only for that I respect prof ;) (but those 100 planets ruin everything)

Well, on a couple of issues here:

1. I asked in support forums if ANY thought we should have limits on credits purchased per round or number of people in a clan (AiDG was the largest clan and growing rapidly to the point of becoming difficult to manage). I appeared to be the only one in the game worried about any limited.

2. I did not know what the limits were on number of planets. There was NO CHANGE in the game structure or code to allow more planets, and the only change was permitted players to buy credits. I purchased credits for cash just as others have done as well. Many games have options for players to pay something to gain some advantage in play. Most in fact. This game once did, but this feature was closed as an option. I simply reopened what had been there from the start and on the same terms. After finding new planets and expanding, I discovered that there was no upper limit on number of planets any player can own. I would not have known that had I not tried it out myself. I have also discovered that there is a very real practical limit on number of planets, just like on clan size. It is very hard to keep up with and harvest from 100 planets. Overall, I agree with SL Council that a limit on the number of planets is appropriate. I would like that limit to be twice the number of planets available as non-upgrade maximum, or 50 planets maximum.

3. As for attacking players, I believe if you look at my history, I have been one of the least agressive players in the game in terms of attacking others. I have even been accused of being a coward and hiding behind NAPs. I have also been criticised for developing a new style of play shortly after starting, which Zygi viewed as legal and permissible, of serial restarting. Yes, many vets have been annoyed with me as a new player showing that you do not have to have played this game for 18 months to have fun and be successful, and there is more than one way to play the game and have fun.

4. As for me cheating, if you really believe I am cheating and playing unfairly, then please stop playing and go find a different game where you can enjoy yourself more. I do not cheat, nor do I feel an obligation to defend myself any time someone asserts that I must have done so (possibly because they themselves can not imagine not cheating if they could do so). I would find this game no challenge and of little enjoyment if I were cheating, and it would be extremely easy for me to create million production point planets or endless resources or something like that if I wanted to cheat. No, I have built up defenses and resources by working to do so, and I used up about half of my personal defensive resources in being attacked by MBIK and then attacking him back. My defenses are not as weak as Hope's are now, but I have not played as long and also do not have as many points as Hope does now, either in total or for the round.

5. As for nearby range, yes, it went down too much. I do not like to have to admit that, but I moved too far in reducing nearby range. I am still considering options and alternatives for nearby range, but I plan to make some change to nearby functions to strengthen it to some degree next round. I also intend to make probing stronger. The universe got twice as large in radius. Probing did not increase by as much. My inclination is to make a simple change to double probing radius to match the double radius of the universe now. However, I will wait a few more days to consider SL council recommendations and make a final decision.

6. As for 500k defense planets, the resources on these planets are exactly the same proportions as the resources on 10k and 20k NP and SP planets dropped. All resources on all planet drops (except those with defense only) have been the same for all defense and non-defense resources on the planets. In addition, the x15 sheild strength on the 500k defense planets means that it costs more troops relative to the planets taken out to capture these planets relative to normal planet drops to fill in the universe and increase planet density. The training value is the same for 50 planets of 10k defense as for 1 planet of 500k defense, and the cost to take is even less if a 50 planet chain of 10k is compared with a single 500k defense planet, as the chain gains exp for the ship gradually. However, since the majority of players do not appear to approve of the 500k planet drops, there will be no more drops of this type in the next round. Something like this might be reconsidered in August, but for July, no large planet drops.

7. As for MBIK quiting, there have been many players who have lost HWs to bugs and who kept on playing, or who lost them to suspension (Mal Gaines) or to mistakes or to defeat by other players. Many of these players have gone on to become stronger than they were and have recovered nicely. Many also have restarted completely from scratch (Filas, SmartFox, and Abe for example) and have proven that they have the skills to play effectively. If MBIK can not recover in the game with 73 planets maximum and with a second homeworld intact with nearly 30M defense, then he has already been defeated by himself and his own attitude towards the game. He could have had peace with me, but he choice, intentionally, to prove that he could stand up to me in the game. In the last round, he and others also strongly attacked TSR and gained much in the way of points and resources. These agressive acts did win a lot of points and recognition, but it also weakened him. He could have sold trained assaults to increase defenses. He could have saved his defenses instead of attacking relatively safely defended planets of mine, which cost him dearly to attack. He chose to attack, weakening himself, just as TSR and I both also chose to attack, weakening ourselves as well in the process of defeating MBIK's HW.

8. As for clan. Neggy was right. I needed to be without clan. But, he is not right that I should not play the game. It is my belief that if I did not play, I would not care much about the game, so I would not have bought it in the first place. And now, I would not worry or care much about it and improving it if I did not play, but would probably let it just decline and decay. It is unclear to me why anyone would prefer that outcome. I suppose I could play with a hidden identity and no one would know it is me playing, but I perfer to be visibile in testing and exploring possibilities and alternatives within the game.

Lotje, WTF are you talking about that I'm in a strong clan and Professor is a poor person because he has no clan?!
As you could have seen, I've captured only 1 (of 4) high defense Professor's planet with help of mandrius, and his help wasn't more than my attack was.
Professor is NAPed with a half of universe!! One clans trains assaults for him, another helps taking my HW using a way more power than Professor did, and now you see he's alone and I've a big help?! I can count on 1 hand fingers how many it's players except clanmates who I wouldn't attack. It's a war game and I'm playing it as it is. (Professor's strategy is more diplomaticy and I like it and I've been using it for ages in another games)
About quiting it's really some players who didn't left after losing HW, but it was many players who left because it was BORING.

i think i read that before that enabling buying credits again will help cover hosting costs.

It's summer and I don't like sitting near PC when it's so sunny outside. And even if I do I have many other work to do like creating games, websites and all other stuff which some one ordered me to do. And till I leave I can still show you how I can play after losing 55mln HW, as I already started doing it. And I'll still play aggressive game, not a nappy one.
