Some players appear to be trying to test the system (and my patience) to see how much cheating they can get away with, while knowing that even if suspended, they can still use the coords they gained by cheating for their advantage.

This situation is going to stop very soon. Players who are genuinely new to the game and who make mistakes will have a high degree of tolerance for mistakes of ignorace. Players who have multiple months of history with the game will soon find that their IP addresses and any IP addresses associated with them will be blocked for all access to prevent repeated abuses. I do not like having to suspend accounts over and over for the same player who knows that he still can benefit from his cheating in spite of the minor annoyance of being suspended for accounts he never intended to keep open long anyway. This behavior, in the future, will result in entire access to the game from that internet connection or service being blocked.

In the case of total account blockage, appeals will be heard if there are innocent casualties of such blockage, but all appeals will need to be careful considered after throughly examining planet capture records, trade records, and other possible evidence that might suggest that more than one acccount was being used to benefit a single player. Due to the time required for such a review, no removals of IP blockage will be done quickly, and more than a week will probably be required for review of any affected accounts.

For moderators of language forums, please translate this (maybe in condensed format) and post as announcement in each forum.

Okay. Please prepare such a guideline. Restarting is allowed if a player has a valid reason, such as totally messing up an account, or for restarting at the end of at least five days of play. Rapid opening of many accounts is grounds for complete blocking of IP access, not just account suspension. Any use of more than one account at one time is grounds for suspension, and if this abuse continues, for IP access blockage.

Use of any account to act for the benefit of another, including a friend opening an account to give coords or planets or resources and without the intention to continue to play, is a violation of one account per player policy, and is grounds for both accounts being suspended. Use of friends to get arround the rules is not an acceptable excuse for using more than one account to benefit a single player from multiple accounts.

Work on the rest of the rules, including no swearing. Find a way also to make it short and simple, like the ten commandments of Skylords, so we can post it in the newbie arena as well as on the forums here in the real arena.

Namenlos, if I could get you and SL14 (under whatever his most recent name is now) to meet halfway on your posting behavior, we would have two relatively well behaved and moderately vocal players in the game. As it is, I would not mind hearing from you more and SL14 less.

About as far to the extreme as is possible. But, you are not quite as annoying (at least to me) as SL14 has been at times. However, I must admit that SL14 is behaving much better in his latest incarnation - at least for now.

To be honest, im just glad you dont abuse your power. Some bad game owners kick people due to personal qualities, but if that was the case with you, im sure id of been the first to go ;)

These people speak the truth Ted. You took a great responsibility by taking over this game, and also sacrificed your own player in some respects to keep the game alive.

I can tell you now and probably for a long time, that CiDG/AiDG sorely miss you in our ranks, but we understand why you had to leave our happy family. We just consider you away from home. :)

Just do what you feel is right and moral prof, and the direction should be clear. You've done a fine job since you've taken over, and continue to do so. At least you are throwing changes into the game to make it change for the better. Sure, some people do not like change, and admittedly, myself included amongst them, but that is due to i hate having to get accustommed to new situations, but I will ADAPT. We all will ADAPT.

It's part of the game process itself, we can log in one day and find half the planets are gone, and change our tactics accordingly. The fact that you care enough to try to make a difference in this game even though with constant barriers shows the strength of character you have. Sure, some people will question every move you make, and for good reason sometimes, but this is probably due to they are worried.

For instance, the benefit of the NP Ship trader is a instant ship buyer/seller. Fantastic in some sense. No more training.
But, then it can work in reverse, some player could have a stockpile of assaults, and hey presto, 4 assaults *12Mil.

They worry prof, thats all, as long as a concensious and all opinions are taken onboard, then at least we are all getting somewhere. I personally am looking forward to the changes coming. Sure, i dont like the thought of 5 Texan 2.5mil enchilada assaults bearing down on my HW, but thats what my fighters are for!! :D:D

Keep trying, and keep advancing, as long as the game has a watching administrator over us, at least we all get a FAIR chance to play.

(now here comes the critisism of my comment)

Please everyone, one at a time! :D

Deemers well put... But the one thing you missed the most is that professor isn't just changing it the way he wants it.... he is listening to everyones opions whether they be a noob or a very vet player... or someone inbetween.
