george lucas has said that there will never be a 7,8,9 trilogy by him,,this was said in a recent interview
at this point, the actors are way to old as stated and anyone else playing the key roles would not go over with us first generation fanatics

there are three books as mentioed that have the seal of approval from lucas that timothy zhan wrote that are very good and continue the story in a beleavable manner....i think thay are "heir to empire", ,"the last command",,and i think the other one was called "the katana fleet"

The 7,8 and 9 might not be happening now, reason being that they will have 1,2 and 3 in top notch modern day graphics,

4,5 and 6 the old ones,

and den 7,8, and 9 in the topnotch ones again, they do sound good though, luke trains Leia to become a jedi night lol
