UK has best special forces and Intelligence Services (SAS and MI6/MI5), Americans have the best Navy, China has the best Air Force and Army. We covered this before.

Here's an example (we're both Brits)
There was a situation during the Gult War in South East Iraq where inserted SAS were to hold a position. Over a thousand Iraqi soldiers were after their guts. It was another 6 hours until Air and Army support arrived...at the end there were 473 dead bodies on the battlefield.
Only 4 were SAS bodies.

The American equivalent is "Delta Force". A good Special Forces division, and the SAS and Delta Force apparently worked together during the Gulf Wars.
